Alan Lin is a filmmaker and writer.
He works primarily as a writer/director,
as well as a director of photography,
and also as a freelance colorist and editor.
He is currently in preproduction for "SEAMS," a short film directed by Malachi Beasley and Annelise Ratner, of which he is the director of photography. He is also preparing to direct his next short film in the summer of 2025.
He self-publishes essays on his blog.
He graduated with a BA in English from Yale in 2024.
